Manual Cinema: Leonardo! A Wonderful Show About A Terrible Monster West Hollywood Theatre reviews
Awesome show
"Angus plays better than ever, this is the third time I've been blessed to see this band live. At times I found myself standing with my mouth open in awe of his guitar playing. I actually missed Malcolm, but Stevie did a great job filling in. Brian can still sing like the devil. At times it was hard to hear the lyrics, but again Angus made up for any shortfalls. I was totally exhausted at the end and wondered how a group of 60 year old men can rock like that several times a week. Best band EVER!"
When he was present he was great!
The show began late at 8:40, with Manual Cinema: Leonardo! A Wonderful Show About A Terrible Monster played to the entire audience. Our seats were fantastic, and all was great and good. A strong message he had, only when he stopped at 10:40 or so, he didn’t even return for an encore. Manual Cinema: Leonardo! A Wonderful Show About A Terrible Monster kept repeating it had been too long since he was last in Evansville, and that it had been 10 years. When the crew started breaking down the stage, we knew it was time to leave. Many fans had a disappointment when they left this event. (Yep, big disappointment here. I doubt that I’ll pay to see him perform again.)
Huge Disappointment.DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR $
Madonna took the stage around 10:30, approximately 10:23. We had to endure a blend of techno-pop music by DJ Mary Mark and were forced to listen to 9 new tracks out of 22 songs. The majority of the favorites were not played, and the ones that were performed were unrecognizable due to rearrangements. The show was visually stimulating with lots of costumes and props, but it seemed like an attempt to cover up Madonna's poor performance. The opening act was a DJ instead of a live band, and there were insults towards the crowd, making it clear that Madonna had lost touch with her fans. The musicians mostly played Apple computers instead of live instruments, which was disappointing considering the high ticket price. Madonna appeared out of touch with what her fans wanted to hear, focusing on new songs rather than her Grammy-winning hits. The performance was a letdown, and the reviewer advised others not to waste their money on it. Madonna needs to reconsider her song choices and connect with her audience better. Overall, the reviewer felt let down by the experience and suggested watching old Madonna videos on YouTube while listening to a local pub DJ for a better time.
One of my FAVES!!!!
"I can not pass up seeing Dierks in concert! A Wonderful Show About A Terrible Monster, Manual Cinema: Leonardo! I've loved him early on, and has not let up! I remember the days of him being the first opener! I'm so happy that he has been headlining his own tour!
I was really excited cause when I got to my seat, about 6 seats away from me, to the left, was a little stage set up!!!! Oh Yea! I love it when Dierks drinks a bit cause he says....I get chatty, so I hope I don't talk your ear off! lol Dierks would be making his way through the crowd to right there by me! And he did not disappoint!"
